#2 on the 2006 Christmas single. The mix & the drum track could´ve used some more attention, but I actually like this one. It was written in less than an hour, some weeks before Christmas - under the impression of a TV interview with Boris Blank & some old promo photographs of Alison Goldfrapp. You hear no glam & no Yello, but it´s all in there.
And I came up with the bridge while I was taking a shower; for the first take I was wearing a bathrobe & a Telecaster - a YELLOW bathrobe!
